It’s a busy week! Today I am working at the Higher Education Academy in York on the ‘Marked Improvement’ assessment project (here are the staff and student profiles I used Staff and student profiles (597 downloads) ) (and then seeing Richard III tonight) and tomorrow in Oxford before keynoting on assessment at the Open University in Milton Keynes on Thursday, and working with Anglia Ruskin University on Friday supporting their NTFS candidates. Next week Phil and I are working at the University of Luxembourg before heading to the Netherlands the following week, working for three days with Utrecht University.

This afternoon I am working  in my capacity as an international  member of the editorial panel of the AISHE Journal.  I am really enjoying working so much in Ireland at the moment and seeing so much good practice.

Today I was working with colleagues at Teesside University looking at how best the HEA ‘A marked improvement’ project can enhance the work Teesside staff are doing to ensure that assessment supports students learning. After that I went up to Sunderland University to meet John Sweet and Alastair Irons to discuss in a triad our annual SEDA CPD reflections which are a requirement for us to remain in good standing as SEDA Senior Fellows. The joint reflection process was, as always, an interesting and purposeful conversation.
